A different kind of wilderness stay
The tented camp is a world apart from the campsites. Five en-suite tents, sleeping two each, set within a private section of Ilala — available only as an exclusive-use booking. When you arrive, the whole area is yours.
This is self-catering in the truest sense of freedom. Bring your food and drinks, and our dedicated camp staff — cook, waiter, laundry and housekeeping — will take care of everything else. Eat when you like, go where you like, stay out as long as you want.
Whether you spend the day on the Zambezi, deep in the Mopane on a game drive, or simply sitting in the shade watching the wildlife come to you — Mana Pools is yours to shape.
What's included
Five en-suite tents
Each tent sleeps two guests with private bathroom, hot shower, flushing toilet, and sink.
Dedicated camp staff
Cook, waiter, laundry, and housekeeping on hand throughout your stay.
Pontoon boats
One pontoon for groups up to 5; two for groups of 6 or more. Skipper/fishing guide included.
Dining room & lounge
Shared dining room, lounge, and chill-out area — your base between adventures.
Full kitchen access
The camp kitchen is at your disposal. Bring your own food and drinks. A cold room is also avaiable.
Tackle hire
Fishing rods and tackle are included — $75 per pontoon per day.
The river is yours
On the Zambezi
The pontoon boats open up the river for the duration of your stay. Go out for a sundowner cruise, spend the day fishing, or simply drift and watch the wildlife along the banks. Fuel is not included in the rate — it is calculated on actual consumption over the stay and settled before departure.

Pontoon fuel
Fuel is not included. Estimated Usage is: Half Day 25l/ -morning or afternoon. Full day 50l per pontoon.

We can arrange supplies to be transported in on our trucks at an additional charge.
